A Floidian Sunset
My quest to capture comet Pan-STARRS began on March 12th 2013 with a beautiful sunset. For fear of being clouded out I took a few images thinking, "Hey. if I don't capture the comet at least it wasn't a total loss."
This image was taken at 23:48:27UT, using an EF55-250mm zoom lens set at 55mm. The exposure was 1/200th sec. ISO 400 at F/10.
A Hazy Sunset
The above three images were taken at about 4pm on July 1st, 2015. No clouds, just a thick haze blanketing the sky. After some research, the haze was being created by the smoke from forest fires some 2000 miles away in Canada.
